What is rope access?

'Industrial rope access' refers to the means by which technicians position themselves to work safely at height. By using a highly versatile system of rigging it is possible to ascend, descend and traverse our way into hard to reach corners of buildings. Modern building design has created challenging heights and shapes, which prevent more conventional methods of maintenance, such as scaffolding.
